Routine and travel vaccinations for all ages are available during surgery times by appointment with our nurses.
We run a flu jab clinic in late October. Ask at reception for further information.
Flu and pneumonia vaccinations
These are recommended for all patients over the age of 60 as well as any patient with heart disease, hypertension, kidney disease or respiratory problems (including asthma or smoking-attributable problems).
Tetanus and travel vaccinations
All patients should be covered by tetanus. At some time in your life you should have a course of 3 tetanus vaccinations followed by a further 2 boosters at 10 year intervals. If you are in doubt, see the practice nurse who can also offer you advice about travel vaccinations which should be done at least 6 weeks before you travel. There is a charge for some vaccinations; the nurse will inform you of this. Please go to our Travel Health page here for further information
